The Crompton Free Library is a historic library building in West Warwick, Rhode Island. The small single-story wood-frame building was constructed in 1876, with funding from local mill owners. Crompton Free Library is situated 1½ miles northwest of Interchange 8.

The Cowesett Pound is an historic animal pound on Cowesett Road in Warwick, Rhode Island. The pound, a roughly square structure built of unmortared fieldstone four to five feet in height, is estimated to have been built in 1742 by David Greene, although there was an older pound already at the site. Cowesett Pound is situated 2½ miles northeast of Interchange 8.

This rare example of primitive 17th-century architecture is located at 125 Howland Road in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Crompton is a community in West Warwick, Rhode Island, United States. It is named after Samuel Crompton, inventor of the spinning mule. The Crompton Mill was set up in 1807, on the east bank of the Pawtuxet River, and is thought to be the first stone mill built in Rhode Island.
