Quidnick is a village within the town of Coventry, Rhode Island. Before the American Revolution the area where Anthony and Quidnick are today was originally named Greeneville for the Greene Family who had operated an iron forge in the mid-18th century. Quidnick is situated 2½ miles northeast of Spring Lake.

Crompton is a community in West Warwick, Rhode Island, United States. It is named after Samuel Crompton, inventor of the spinning mule. The Crompton Mill was set up in 1807, on the east bank of the Pawtuxet River, and is thought to be the first stone mill built in Rhode Island. Crompton is situated 3 miles east of Spring Lake.
