Stockbridge is a town in Windsor County, Vermont, United States, which contains the village of Gaysville. The population was 718 at the 2020 census. Stockbridge was one of thirteen Vermont towns isolated by flooding caused by Hurricane Irene in 2011. Stockbridge is situated 2½ miles east of Guernsey Brook.

Including the town common as well as a few buildings and an adjacent cemetery, it is a well-preserved example of a village bypassed by economic development during the 19th century industrial period. Stockbridge Common Historic District is situated 2½ miles east of Guernsey Brook.
