Rutland

The Boardman Hill Solar Farm is a 150 kW AC community solar farm project. The Farm is the first community solar array in Vermont that fulfills the “Vermont Grown, Vermont Green” Archived 2019-01-24 at the Wayback Machine mission: complete member-ownership, democratic management of ongoing operations, and retirement of the RECs generated by the solar farm.

The West Rutland Town Hall is located at Main and Marble Streets in the village center of West Rutland, Vermont. Built in 1908-09, it is a fine and restrained example of Colonial Revival architecture, and originally housed town offices, the public library, and a community meeting space.

Ira is a town in Rutland County, Vermont, United States. The population was 368 at the 2020 census. It was named for Ira Allen, brother of Ethan Allen, who fought with the Green Mountain Boys of the Revolutionary War. Ira is situated 3½ miles south of Rutland.
