The Boardman Hill Solar Farm is a 150 kW AC community solar farm project. The Farm is the first community solar array in Vermont that fulfills the “Vermont Grown, Vermont Green” Archived 2019-01-24 at the Wayback Machine mission: complete member-ownership, democratic management of ongoing operations, and retirement of the RECs generated by the solar farm. Ira is a town in Rutland County, Vermont, United States. The population was 368 at the 2020 census. It was named for Ira Allen, brother of Ethan Allen, who fought with the Green Mountain Boys of the Revolutionary War. Ira is situated 2½ miles southwest of Ira Brook.
