Rutland

Rutland is a city of about 17,000 people in Southern Vermont. It is the third largest city in the state. It is a good starting point for exploring the Green Mountains, and is very close to several major ski areas.
Bennington

Bennington is a town in Southwestern Vermont. Boasting five covered bridges it is a classic Vermont country town, and is also home to Bennington College. This article also encompasses the neighboring town of North Bennington.

Springfield

Springfield is a town of 9,400 people in southeastern Vermont along the Black River. In 2007, the city was selected to host the premiere of The Simpsons Movie after winning a contest to find the Springfield that most closely resembled the town featured in the movie and TV show.
Manchester

Manchester is a town in southernwestern Vermont, nestled at the foot of 3,816-foot Mount Equinox. It has a tranquil old-world atmosphere, and Manchester Center is a shopper's paradise that is completely different from the village with its signs, sights and many shops.
Woodstock

Woodstock is a quaint little shire town in the state of Vermont. The town holds its pertaining country seat, and is known for its old town buildings. The little town looks nearly the same as it did over one hundred years ago.
Newfane

Newfane is the shire town of Windham County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,645 at the 2020 census. The town includes the villages of Newfane, Williamsville, and South Newfane.

Windsor is in Southern Vermont. Windsor sits on the banks of the Connecticut River. Mount Ascutney, one of Vermont's only volcanoes, offers great views while visiting this small but progressive community.

Wilmington is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The population was 2,255 at the 2020 census. The town was chartered in 1751 by Benning Wentworth, colonial governor of New Hampshire.

Plymouth
