The Windmill Point Light in Vermont is the northernmost lighthouse on Lake Champlain. Extinguished for seventy years, it was reactivated in 2002 to replace the skeleton tower erected next to it.

The Rutland Railroad Pumping Station is a historic water pumping facility at 43 Lake Street in the town of Alburgh, Vermont. Built in 1903, it is a rare example in Vermont of an early railroad-related water pumping facility. Rutland Railroad Pumping Station is situated 1½ miles east of Windmill Point Reef.

The station building is a former Delaware and Hudson Railway constructed in 1889, with a one low-level side platform on the east side of the track.
