Alta Peak
Alta Peak is in Sequoia National Park not far from Giant Forest. Before 1896, the mountain was known as Tharps Peak. By 1903 it was generally known by its current name and Alta Peak appears on the Tehipite quadrangle, USGS 30 minute topographic map of 1905, and was officially recognized by the Board on Geographic Names in 1928.- Type: Peak with an elevation of 11,276 feet

Pear Lake Ski Hut

The Pear Lake Ski Hut is a mountain hut in Sequoia National Park, California, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in Sequoia National Park by the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1939–41 using local Sierra granite and timber materials, the hut is an example of the National Park Service Rustic style, using rough masonry and a log roof structure.

Tokopah Falls, also known as Tokopah Valley Falls, is a 1,200-foot cascading waterfall in Sequoia National Park, California. The falls are formed as the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River slides down a huge granite headwall of the glacial Tokopah Valley.
