The , also known as the Cabin Creek Ranger Station, were built in 1934 and 1935 in by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

is a giant sequoia grove in of the Tulare County, which covers about 215 acres. The grove, located in the northwest corner of the park, is accessed by the Trail which begins from the Dorst Creek Campground. is situated 1½ miles west of Cabin Creek.
