Eureka Valley is located in Inyo County, in eastern California in the southwestern United States. It is approximately 28 miles long and up to 10 miles wide, with elevations varying from 2,870 feet up to 8,456 feet. Eureka Valley Sand Dunes is situated 2½ miles northwest of Dedeckera Canyon.
