Red Peak is a mountain in the Sierra Nevada mountain range at the north end of the Crystal Range, to the west of Lake Tahoe. It is located in the Desolation Wilderness in El Dorado County, California. Red Peak is situated 2 miles northwest of Lake Doris.

It is the third-highest peak in the Desolation Wilderness, and is set on land managed by Eldorado National Forest. Dicks Peak is situated 2½ miles east of Lake Doris.
