It is located along the Surf Line right of way between West Beech Street and West Cedar Street, in the Little Italy neighborhood of downtown San Diego. County Center/Little Italy station is situated 620 feet east of San Diego County Administration Center.

USS Midway is an aircraft carrier, formerly of the United States Navy, the lead ship of her class. Commissioned eight days after the end of World War II, Midway was the largest aircraft carrier in the world until 1955, as well as the first U.S. aircraft carrier too big to transit the Panama Canal. USS Midway is situated 3,200 feet south of San Diego County Administration Center.
