Mono Pass is a mountain pass, just outside Yosemite National Park, near the region of Tuolumne Meadows. Mono Pass is between Mount Gibbs and Mount Lewis.

Mount Gibbs is located in the Sierra Nevada of the U.S. state of California, 2.6 miles south of Mount Dana. The mountain was named in honor of Oliver Gibbs, a professor at Harvard University and friend of Josiah Whitney. Mount Gibbs is situated 1½ miles north of Sardine Lakes.
