The Cabin Creek Ranger Residence and Dormitory, also known as the Cabin Creek Ranger Station, were built in 1934 and 1935 in Sequoia National Park by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Cabin Creek Ranger Residence and Dormitory is situated 1½ miles southeast of Stony Creek Campground.

Muir Grove is a giant sequoia grove in Sequoia National Park of the Tulare County, which covers about 215 acres. The grove, located in the northwest corner of the park, is accessed by the Muir Grove Trail which begins from the Dorst Creek Campground. Muir Grove is situated 2½ miles south of Stony Creek Campground.
