West Vidette is a 12,533-foot-elevation mountain summit located three miles west of the crest of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, in the northeast corner of Tulare County in northern California. West Vidette is situated 1½ miles southwest of Vidette Creek.

University Peak is a thirteener in the Sierra Nevada. It is named for the University of California. It is on the Sierra crest between Mount Gould to the north, and Mount Bradley to the south. University Peak is situated 2½ miles east of Vidette Creek.
