Red River is a small mountain resort town in North Central New Mexico. Tucked into a canyon in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this former mining town now thrives on tourism as the home of a popular ski resort. Questa is situated 1½ miles west of Questa Ranger Station.

Cerro is an unincorporated community in Taos County, New Mexico, United States located along New Mexico State Road 378. It was founded in 1854 by settlers from Taos and Questa and was named for Cerro Guadalupe. Cerro is situated 4½ miles northwest of Questa Ranger Station.
