Prince of Wales Island is in Southeastern Alaska, and is one of the largest islands in the United States. Although it has several small communities, most of the island is part of the Tongass National Forest, which covers much of Southeastern Alaska. Craig is situated 4½ miles southeast of Parida Island Reef.
