The Treadwell gold mine was on the south side of Douglas Island.5-mile east of downtown Douglas and southeast of downtown Juneau, owned and operated by John Treadwell. Treadwell gold mine is situated 1½ miles northwest of Ready Bullion Creek.

Mount Roberts or Roberts Peak is a 3,819 foot mountain just east of downtown Juneau, Alaska. It is noted for its accessibility from downtown Juneau and for the Goldbelt Tram which carries passengers and tourists from sea level to 1,800 feet up the mountain. Roberts Peak is situated 2½ miles north of Ready Bullion Creek.
