The Washington State Capitol in Olympia is the home of the government of the state of Washington. It contains the chambers of the Washington State Legislature, offices for the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, and state treasurer. Washington State Capitol is situated 1½ miles east of Capitol Mall.

Simmons Lake is a lake in the U.S. state of Washington. The lake has a surface area of 24.5 acres and reaches a depth of 12 feet. Simmons Lake was named after Michael T. Simmons, a pioneer citizen. A variant name was "Ken Lake".

The Temple of Justice is a government building in Olympia, Washington, where sessions of the Washington Supreme Court are convened. It also houses the state's official law library, and formerly housed the office of the Attorney-General of Washington. Temple of Justice is situated 1½ miles east of Capitol Mall.
