Sunset Falls

Sunset Falls is the final of the three waterfalls on the South Fork Skykomish River. The falls drop 104 feet in a long, narrow, powerful chute. The river is thought to attain speeds of 60 kilometres an hour and the chute is nearly 300 feet long. Sunset Falls is situated 2 miles southeast of Deer Creek.

Mount Persis is a 5,464-foot summit located in Snohomish County, of Washington state. The mountain is part of the Cascade Range and is situated in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Mount Persis is situated 2 miles southwest of Deer Creek.

Canyon Falls is the second of the three waterfalls on the South Fork Skykomish River. The falls occur about halfway between Eagle Falls and Sunset Falls. Canyon Falls is situated 2½ miles east of Deer Creek.
