It is located nine miles northwest of Darrington, Washington, and is situated on land administered by the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Round Mountain is situated 2½ km southwest of Deer Creek Pass.

Mount Higgins is situated 4 km southwest of Deer Creek Pass.
