Named after a paddle steamer, Toledo began out of pioneer settlement, the Cowlitz Farm, and the beginnings of several ports known as Plomondon's Landing, Warbassport, and Cowlitz Landing. Toledo is situated 6 miles northwest of Eden Valley.
