The Pacific Tsunami Museum is a museum in Hilo, Hawaii dedicated to the history of the April 1, 1946 Pacific tsunami and the May 23, 1960 Chilean tsunami which devastated much of the east coast of the Big Island, especially Hilo. Pacific Tsunami Museum is situated 2 miles south of Mā‘ili Stream.

Coconut Island, or Mokuola is a small island in Hilo Bay, just offshore from Lili'uokalani Park and Gardens, in Hilo, off the island of Hawaii. It is a small park with a large grassy field, picnic areas, restroom facilities, and a few tiny sandy beaches. Coconut Island is situated 2½ miles southeast of Mā‘ili Stream.
