Mākena is a census-designated place in the extreme southwest of the island of Maui in Maui County, Hawaiʻi, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 196, up from 99 in 2010. Mākena is situated 4 miles northeast of Molokini Shoal Marine Life Conservation District.
