Hilo International Airport, formerly General Lyman Field, is a regional airport located in Hilo, Hawaii, United States. Owned and operated by the Hawaii Department of Transportation, the airport serves windward Hawaiʻi island including the districts of Hilo, Hāmākua and Kaʻū, and Puna.

Coconut Island, or Mokuola is a small island in Hilo Bay, just offshore from Lili'uokalani Park and Gardens, in Hilo, off the island of Hawaii. It is a small park with a large grassy field, picnic areas, restroom facilities, and a few tiny sandy beaches.

Liliʻuokalani Park and Gardens is a 24.14-acre park with Japanese gardens, located on Banyan Drive in Hilo on the island of Hawaiʻi. The park's site was donated by Queen Liliʻuokalani, and lies southeast of downtown Hilo, on the Waiakea Peninsula in Hilo Bay. Liliuokalani Gardens is situated 1 mile west of Pier Number Three.
