Fort Montgomery

Fort Montgomery on Lake Champlain is the second of two United States forts built at the northernmost point of the United States part of the lake: a first, unnamed fort had been built on the same site in 1816 but had been disassembled after engineers realised they were building on Canadian territory. Fort Montgomery is situated 3 km south of Ruisseau Bisaillon.

The Rouses Point Bridge carries U.S. Route 2 across Lake Champlain at the point where the Richelieu River begins its trek north to the St. Lawrence Seaway. Rouses Point Bridge is situated 3½ km south of Ruisseau Bisaillon.
