Val-Jalbert is a ghost town in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region of , . It is located 8 km northwest of the town of . The village was founded in 1901 and soon saw success in the pulp mill created by Damase Jalbert at the base of the Ouiatchouan Falls.
