Val-Jalbert
Val-Jalbert is a ghost town in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec, Canada. It is located 8 km northwest of the town of Chambord. The village was founded in 1901 and soon saw success in the pulp mill created by Damase Jalbert at the base of the Ouiatchouan Falls.- Type: Locality

Chambord is a municipality in Le Domaine-du-Roy Regional County Municipality in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec, Canada. The Chambord meteorite was found near here in 1904. Chambord is situated 8 km east of Val-Jalbert.

Roberval is a city on the south-western shore of Lac Saint-Jean in the Le Domaine-du-Roy Regional County Municipality of Quebec, Canada. With a population of 9,840 in the Canada 2021 Census, it is the fourth largest city on this lake after Alma, Dolbeau-Mistassini and Saint-Félicien. Roberval is situated 10 km northwest of Val-Jalbert.
