Wedderburn is a community in Central Otago, New Zealand. Located 15 kilometres northwest of Ranfurly, it was once a centre for gold and coal mining. The name Wedderburn was given to the area by John Turnbull Thomson, and is one of the names in his Thomson's Barnyard.
Oturehua

Oturehua is a small settlement in the Ida Valley of the Maniototo, in Central Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand. The settlement is 500 m above sea level, and is located 25 km from Ranfurly, via the Ida Valley - Omakau Road and State Highway 85. Oturehua is situated 7 km west of Wedderburn Overbridge.
