Lake Rotoaira
Lake Rotoaira is a small lake to the south of Lake Taupō on the North Island Volcanic Plateau in New Zealand. It covers an area of 13 km2. Lake Rotoaira is one of the few privately owned lakes in New Zealand being administered by the Lake Rotoaira Trust on behalf of its owners.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Otukou
Locality
Otukou is a rural community in the Taupō District and Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island. The main Otukou settlement is located on State Highway 46, on the south-eastern shore of Lake Rotoaira. Otukou is situated 4½ km west of Lake Rotoaira.
Tongariro
Locality
Tongariro is a village and rural community, located east of Taumarunui and west of Kuratau on State Highway 41. It includes the Pāpākai Marae and Rākeipoho meeting house, a traditional tribal meeting place for the Ngāti Tūwharetoa hapū of Ngāti Hikairo. Tongariro is situated 6 km west of Lake Rotoaira.
