Taipa is a settlement on the southern side of Doubtless Bay in Northland, New Zealand. State Highway 10 runs through it. It is the westernmost of the Taipa-Mangonui string of settlements, and separated from the others by the Taipa River.

Cable Bay is a settlement on the southern side of Doubtless Bay in Northland, New Zealand. State Highway 10 runs through it. It is one of the Taipa-Mangonui string of settlements, separated from Taipa on the west by the Taipa River and from Coopers Beach on the east by Otanenui Stream. Cable Bay is situated 3½ km east of Puketu Island.

Taipa-Mangonui is a string of seaside communities in the Far Far North of the North Island of New Zealand. The communities lie along State Highway 10 in the large Doubtless Bay and are, from the west, Taipa, Cable Bay, Coopers Beach and Mangonui.
