The Motuti River is a short, wide river in the Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island. More a silty arm of the Hokianga Harbour than a true river, it flows south from the settlement of Motuti to the main channel of the Hokianga 10 kilometres west of Rawene.Places in the Area

Panguru is a community in the northern Hokianga harbour, in Northland, New Zealand. The Whakarapa Stream flows from the Panguru Range in the Warawara Forest to the west, through Panguru and into the Hokianga. Panguru is situated 3½ km west of Motuti River.

Locality
Ōnoke is a locality in the Hokianga region. Located at the mouth of the Whirinaki River, it was the site of Frederick Maning's house. Ōnoke locality covers 11.09 km2 and had a population of 90 in the 2023 New Zealand census. Ōnoke is situated 3½ km south of Motuti River.
