The Mamaku Ranges are a mountain range in the North Island of New Zealand. Located to the west of Lake Rotorua and north of Lake Taupō, they lie to the immediate south of the Kaimai Range and can be thought of as an extension of it, in much the same way that the Kaimai Range can be considered an extension of the Coromandel Range. Mamaku Ranges is situated 9 km east of Kuhatahi Stream.

Locality
Arahiwi is a rural area of New Zealand approximately 6 km west of Mamaku and 25 km from Rotorua. The Rotorua Branch is a disused railway line that ran through Arahiwi to connect Putāruru and Rotorua, before closing in 2001. Arahiwi is situated 9 km southeast of Kuhatahi Stream.
