Tessalit is a rural commune and village in the Kidal Region of Mali. The village is the administrative centre of Tessalit Cercle. The village lies 85 kilometres north of Adjelhoc and about 70 kilometres from the Algerian border. Tessalit is situated 6 km southeast of Tessalit Airport.
