Larissa State Airport "Thessaly" was built in 1912. It was the commercial airport of Larissa until 1997 when it closed for civilian traffic. The Yeni Mosque is a former mosque in Larissa, in the Thessaly region of Greece. Completed in c. 1881 during the Ottoman era, the mosque was abandoned in 1924 and subsequently repurposed for cultural use.
