Malapo is a small village in the eastern district of Tongatapu in the kingdom of Tonga. It is located in the fork of the road junction, where the main road to Nukuʻalofa splits into the road to Muʻa and beyond and the road to the airport near Fuaʻamotu. Malapo is situated 4½ km north of Fuaʻamotu International Airport.

Muʻa is a small town in the Hahake district on the island of Tongatapu, and it was for centuries the ancient capital of the Tuʻi Tonga Empire. It is divided in the villages Lapaha and Tatakamotonga, is close to Talasiu and famous for the ancient langi. Muʻa is situated 7 km northeast of Fuaʻamotu International Airport.
