Vaugirard is a station on Line 12 of the Paris Métro in the 15th arrondissement. It is named after the nearby Rue de Vaugirard, which in turn was named after the former Place de Vaugirard, renamed to Place Adolphe Chérioux in 1935. Vaugirard station is situated 170 metres west of Novotel Paris Vaugirard.

Tour Maine-Montparnasse, also commonly named Tour Montparnasse, is a 210-metre office skyscraper in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. Constructed from 1969 to 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper in France until 2011, when it was surpassed by the 231-metre Tour First in the La Défense business district west of Paris's city limits. Montparnasse Tower is situated 1¼ km east of Novotel Paris Vaugirard.
