Cupramontana is a municipality in the province of and employs just under 5,000 inhabitants. Cupramontana is the capital of "Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi", one of the main Italian white wines and the birthplace of Luigi Bartolini, great engraver of the twentieth century and author of the novel "Ladri di biciclette".
