Nocera Superiore is a town and comune in the in the region of south-western . It was the core of the ancient city of Nuceria Alfaterna, later known as Nuceria Constantia, Nuceria Christianorum and then Nuceria Paganorum, which also included the nowadays territories of , and smaller towns.
