Alonso Martínez

Alonso Martínez is a station on Line 4, Line 5 and Line 10 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in Zone A. The station is under the Plaza de Alonso Martínez, named after the Spanish jurist and politician Manuel Alonso Martínez.

Plaza de Colón is located in the encounter of Chamberí, Centro and Salamanca districts of Madrid, Spain. This plaza and its fountain commemorate the explorer Christopher Columbus, whose name in Spanish was Cristóbal Colón, whose voyages to the Americas would lead to the creation of the Spanish Empire.
