Nanhua Dam, originally named Houjie Dam, is a dam across the Houku River, a tributary of the Zengwen River in southern Taiwan. Located at Nanhua District, Tainan, the dam was built to provide municipal water to Tainan and Kaohsiung City and is operated by the Taiwan Water Corporation. Nanhua Reservoir is situated 4 km northeast of Dingkan.

After a 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit southern Taiwan in March 2010, pillars were severely damaged at Yujing Junior High School forcing school officials to cancel some classes. Yujing District is situated 8 km northwest of Dingkan.
