Soreang is a town and an administrative district of Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Located 18 km from Bandung city, Soreang is the regency seat of Bandung Regency, where the regent's office and local legislature are located at Kopo-Soreang Highway. Soreang is situated 7 km southwest of Cikahuripan.

Central Bandung forms the city centre of the city of Bandung. Although the area had been inhabited before, it was here that the city of Bandung was founded in the year 1810, at the place where the Great Post Road crosses the Cikapundung river.
