Runaway Island

Runaway Island is a rocky island 0.7 nautical miles west of the west tip of Neny Island and 0.2 nautical miles northwest of surf rock, lying in Marguerite Bay off the west coast of Graham Land. Runaway Island is situated 2½ km east of Reference Islands.
Baffle Rock
Islet
Baffle Rock is a small rock, just visible at the surface at high tide, lying in the center of the deep water channel approach to Stonington Island, 1.1 kilometres northwest of the western tip of Neny Island in Marguerite Bay. Baffle Rock is situated 3½ km east of Reference Islands.

East Base on Stonington Island is the oldest American research station in Antarctica, having been commissioned by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939. The station was built as part of two US wintering expeditions – United States Antarctic Service Expedition and Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition. East Base is situated 7 km east of Reference Islands.
