Trowbridge Island is an island lying 2 nautical miles northwest of Cape Melville in Destruction Bay, off the east coast of King George Island in the South Shetland Islands.

Melville Peak is a prominent peak surmounting Cape Melville, the eastern cape of King George Island, in the South Shetland Islands off Antarctica. It represents an eroded stratovolcano of unknown age and contains a volcanic crater at its summit. Melville Peak is situated 2½ km southwest of Wrona Buttress.
