Bitan, historically called Shi-Bitan, is a tourist spot in Xindian District, New Taipei, Taiwan. "Bitan" literally means "green lake", referring to where the Xindian River widens to form the lake. Bitan is situated 6 km northeast of Shizitoujiao.
