The is a 1.5 km long situated in the in north-western part of canton of in . Glacier area passed from 4 km2 in 1850, to 2.31 km2 in 1973 and 1.6 km2 in 2022 situating at an altitude between 2600 and 3150 m at the foot of Basodino Peak.
