Priddy is a village in Somerset, England in the Mendip Hills, close to East Harptree and 4 miles north-west of Wells. The village lies in a small hollow near the summit of the Mendip range of hills, at an elevation of 260 metres above sea-level, and has evidence of occupation since Neolithic times. Priddy is situated 2½ miles northwest of Mendip.

Croscombe is a village and civil parish 2 miles west of Shepton Mallet and 4 miles from Wells, in the county of Somerset, England. It is situated on the A371 road in the valley of the River Sheppey. Croscombe is situated 3½ miles southeast of Mendip.
