Arkens

Arkens is a Hollow Post mill in Franeker, Friesland, Netherlands which has been restored to working order. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument, number 15710. It shares its name with the eponymous hamlet, just north of Franeker, Arkens.

Franeker City Hall is the city hall of the municipality of Franeker, Netherlands, one of the eleven historical cities of Friesland. The building dates from 1591–1594 and was built in Frisian renaissance style. Franeker City Hall is situated 1 km west of Arkens.
