Bethnal Green is a railway station on the Weaver line of the London Overground, located in the southern part of Bethnal Green in East London. The station is 1 mile 10 chains down the line from London Liverpool Street; the next station is either Hackney Downs or Cambridge Heath.

The Brady Street Cemetery is a historic Jewish cemetery on Brady Street in Whitechapel, located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The cemetery opened in 1761 as the burial ground for the New Synagogue and was subsequently used by the Great Synagogue. Brady Street Cemetery is situated 760 feet south of Bethnal Green railway station.

The area emerged from the small settlement which developed around the Green, much of which survives today as Bethnal Green Gardens, beside Cambridge Heath Road.
