The Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven and St Nicholas, commonly known as Galway Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Galway, Ireland. Construction began in 1958 on the site of the old city prison.

Mionlach, commonly known by the anglicised name Menlo or Menlough, is a village and townland in one of the Gaeltacht areas of County Galway, Ireland. It is located about 3 km north of the Galway city centre, near where Lough Corrib outflows into the River Corrib.
