Meroë
Meroë is an ancient city along the eastern bank of the Nile River in Northern Sudan, approximately 200 km northeast of Khartoum. The site is home to more than 200 Nubian pyramids in three separate groups.

The Pyramids of Meroë are a large number of Nubian pyramids, encompassing three cemeteries near the ancient city of Meroë. They are located in Sudan, approximately 200 kilometres northeast of Khartoum, near the village of Bagrawiya.
